John Caso - CEO ADI

After his initial career in radio (back in the days of Boss Jocks and vinyl records), John was drawn into the world of computers and databases. Not being a "techy" at heart, John's forte was working with business owners and their employees in developing ways to better utilize technology in simplifying their daily business processes.

John joined the ranks of an entrepreneur in 1991 when he purchased the company that he began his computer career with 12 years earlier.

In 1998, John's business focus turned to document management and compliance within the financial services industry. Working with a 10-person financial planner office, John redesigned their current document management solution to better server the business process of the operations and meet the state and federal compliance mandates.

John's experience and knowledge has lead to the development of several of Laserfiche's white papers, best practice guides and training programs. He is a featured speaker at several CE accredited seminars and FPA chapter meetings throughout the nation.

John was born and raised in San Diego, California and now lives in the mountains of northeast Tennessee. John enjoys spending time with his wife Debbie, his faithful dog of 15 years, Bo, his two grown sons and their families, which includes his grand daughters Ella and Maleah and grandson Asher.

Sabrina Cox - Project Manager - Trainer

Sabrina began her document management career as an end-user. Working within a compliant centric office environment, Sabrina was responsible for the initial implementation and daily operation of the firm's Laserfiche system.

In 2003, Sabrina joined ADI and proved herself quickly to become a key member of the team. Her experience in using Laserfiche daily in a compliant environment has made Sabrina an excellent trainer of new and current users.

"Born a coal-miners daughter", Sabrina is married with 5-children, 1 dog, 3 cats. She enjoys cooking, shopping, camping, hiking and time on the lake….only because her husband Wayne likes to fish.

Kevin Smith - Senior Vice President
One Source Document Solutions, Inc

Kevin graduated with a degree in Business from Wake Forest University in 1992. After several years in Banking and Financial Services, he founded the Technology Solutions Division of One Source Document Solutions, Inc. in January 1996.

In the past 12 years, One Source has grown to be one of the 10 largest resellers of Laserfiche Document Management Systems in the world, providing document management solutions to nearly 100 local government agencies in North Carolina and more than 150 financial services firms and other clients across the country. Within this position, Smith has assembled a fantastic staff of developers, technicians and consultants who provide high-level services to clients needing to automate their business process. He has been named as a Laserfiche Winner's Circle performer for the past eight years, and was named to the Piedmont Triad Movers and Shakers for 2008 by Business Leader Magazine.

Off hours, Kevin spends most of his time with his wife Elizabeth and 2 children, Elijah and Josie. With Elizabeth's permission, Kevin occasionally plays a round of golf, hunts deer and ducks, and enjoys a day doing just about anything outdoors.

Keith Smith - CEO
One Source Document Solutions, Inc

Upon completion of his studies at East Carolina University, Keith joined Container Corporation of America as a Production Planner gaining much knowledge about the printing and production of forms, cartons, labels, etc. During that time he also served with the US Army Reserves as a Drill Sergeant. After working as a manager and salesman for various printing and forms providers, he began the forms development department for Network Information Services, a provider of software to the textile industry.

In 1994, Keith purchased the forms assets and client base from Network creating One Source Document Solutions, Inc. He currently serves as CEO and is actively involved in developing new business as well as maintaining customer relationships with current clients.

An avid NASCAR fan, Keith enjoys watching the races. Once in a "blue moon", he sneaks in a game of golf or goes fishing. He is the proud Papaw to Elijah and Josie Smith.

Ernestine Smith - President
One Source Document Solutions, Inc

After receiving her BS in business from East Carolina University, Ernestine pursued a career path in teaching with the Greensboro, NC public schools. She served as chairperson of the Business Department and taught classes in accounting, keyboarding, and business management. She was a member of the school-based oversight committee, a mentor teacher for new teachers, and a representative on the Vocational Education Advisory Board among other duties.

When OSDS was established, she became president and currently retains that position overseeing the accounting and HR functions and serves as the office manager responsible for day-to-day operations of the company.

For relaxation, Ernestine enjoys gardening, playing her piano and traveling - especially to the beach. She also relishes the time she can spend with her 2 grandchildren.

Phillip Joyce - Developer / Project Manager

Phil graduated from Cayuga University in 1989 with an AAS in digital electronics and with a certificate in Analog electronics. After graduating he spent several years as an instructor, teaching electronics, and photography at Syracuse University. He also instructed basic electronics theory at Rochester institute of Technology.

His technology career began in 1993 when he took a position with Chase Manhattan Bank in New York as a network administrator. From there he took a job in 1996 with IKON office solutions, located in Greensboro NC. It was with IKON that he began working in document imaging.

Phil joined the One Source Team as a contractor in 2005. He provided One Source with custom tools to convert imaging systems such as OTG to LaserFiche. In 2007 Phil became a member of the One Source team full time. Working in the capacity as a developer and project manager Phil has over 10 years experience in document imaging and network systems. Phil currently holds certifications as a Novel CNE, Microsoft SQL DBA, as well as being certified in several other documents imaging application.

Phil is and his wife Diane live in Walkertown, NC with their 4 children Kevin, Robert, Nicole, and David. When not programming he enjoys Hunting, Fly Fishing and woodworking.

Jim Alpern - Senior Systems Analyst

After varied careers, including music producer and IRS tax examiner, Jim finally settled into his true calling which was document management for the financial industry. Starting as a scanning clerk for NFP Securities in 2002, Jim steadily grew his role and knowledge to become the manager of the B/D's Enterprise Document Management department, encompassing expertise in document imaging, forms creation and workflow processing.

While at NFP, Jim worked extensively with the B/D's Compliance department to identify, advise and provide instruction on best practices in financial document management.

In August, 2007 Jim joined One Source Document Solutions as a Senior Systems Analyst. At One Source/ADI, Jim will be creating training materials, running Webinars, consulting on and installing systems, and answering support emails and calls, mainly focusing on our Financial Industry clients.

In his spare time, Jim enjoys bicycling, movies and time with his wife, Marion, and their daughter while relaxing at home with his family.

Nathan Whicker - Support Specialist

A native of the Winston-Salem, NC area, Nathan is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Greensboro where he received his B.S. in Information Systems in 2006. After graduation, he began work for a small tool and mold company working his way up to general manager. After deciding to move to a career that was more in his field of study, Nathan accepted a position with One Source as a support technician at the beginning of 2008, specializing in the functionality of the core Laserfiche products. In March, 2008, he completed the Laserfiche Value Added Reseller Training Program at the Laserfiche Institute in Long Beach, CA.

His day to day activities include (but never limited to) answering support calls/e-mails (his friendly voice is the one you hear when you call One Source support!), creation of support documentation, and training of the Laserfiche core product.

In his spare time, Nathan enjoys watching sports events, water-skiing, and going to the lake with friends.

Sheila Baranello - Document Support Specialist

Sheila has been in the printing and business forms industry since graduation from Powelson Business Institute. She has held various positions in design, management, purchasing, inventory control, security and customer service.

In 1997 Sheila moved from Syracuse, New York to North Carolina and joined the One Source Document Solutions staff. At that time, she became extensively involved in the forms and document management part of the business. Sheila is very involved with all aspects of client services for forms and Laserfiche as well as managing the in-house scanning bureau and overseeing the electronic forms design area.

Outside interests include golfing with her husband Ralph and participating in NC Ladies Golf tournaments, riding and caring for her horse Lady, and spending time with their family.

David Swan - Senior Consultant

Dave started in office automation after receiving his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and started his own business. He later was a sales engineer for a design-build access control company, and for the last 7 years, has been involved with Document Management on various levels from sales to design and installation. Along the way, Dave has obtained a variety of industry certifications most notably of which are CISCO certifications and the CompTIA Certified Document Imaging Architect (CDIA+) certification.

At One Source, Dave serves as a senior consultant, implementer, and trainer in the document imaging division of the company. He specializes in scan processing and workflow. In addition to spending time with his wife, Jane, he enjoys tennis, golf, SCUBA, photography, boating and skiing (both water and snow). He also loves to pick up his bass and acoustic guitars and play with his local church group.

Vicki Fuquay - Senior CSR

A native of Iowa, Vicki completed her education at Patricia Stevens Finishing School for Girls with an advanced certificate in Fashioning Merchandising. She accepted positions in Omaha, NE and in New Hampshire prior to moving to North Carolina where she worked for Bates Nitewear as a customer service representative and assistant to the controller.

When Bates downsized, she accepted a position as CSR with Network Information Services in the forms development area where she became proficient in a number of software programs designing forms, labels, logos, etc. She has been with One Source Document Solutions since its beginning as the senior CSR and manages sending quotes to vendors and clients, as well as processing orders and examining samples of all orders produced for clients.

She has been married to husband, Keith, for 27 years and has a married daughter, Jessica, and her first grandson, Aiden. Vicki enjoys spending her spare time searching out "finds" at yard sales.

Becky Hedgecock - Administrative Assistant

A graduate of Campbell University with an Associates degree in business, Becky began her career as a medical receptionist at Wake Forest University School of Medicine in the Dermatology Department. She later joined a dermatologist in private practice and served as the office manager and personal assistant.

Becky joined the staff of One Source in October, 2007, and currently serves as an administrative assistant where her responsibilities include processing accounting records and assisting with the receivables and payables.

In her spare time, she enjoys sewing and gardening. Even more so, she enjoys spending time with her grandchildren, Abby and Walker, who live in Concord, NC
